I cranked out Netflix’s new original movie “When We First Met,” and it’s a fun film.

I’m sure that lots of you are asking yourselves how I found myself watching a romantic comedy film. How does the guy who loves beer, football, America, bikini-clad women and guns stumble upon this movie? Well, the answer is actually very simple. Adam Devine is one of the funniest guys in Hollywood, and I’ll watch anything he’s in. Throw in certified smoke show Alexandra Daddario and you’re bound to have a good time.

The movie centers around Devine traveling through time as he tries to win over the woman of his dreams. It’s not necessarily an unheard of concept, but it was a unique ride. Devine once again proved that he’s a rare talent, and the audience gets jerked around in an unexpected way.

Is this a movie I would have gone to see in the theaters? Probably not, but it was well worth the time watching it on Netflix. Daddario was excellent, it was a fun idea, and Devine crushed it. Plus it’s interesting to think about what we would do if we found ourselves in the same situation. Would you travel back in time to chase a woman? I wouldn’t because I’m a big believer in the butterfly effect, but it’s still an entertaining debate.

I know this is extremely off brand for me, but I’m recommending “When We First Met.” Now, go ahead and roast me all you want if you don’t like it.
