One Oklahoma firehouse has welcomed seven babies, months apart — and as they all appeared on Thursday morning’s “Fox & Friends,” the “new dad sway” took over the segment.

Throughout the segment, three of the firemen remained seated while four stood behind them. And the four standing, almost in unison at times, shifted their weight from side to side to rock the babies.

According to the wife of one of the men, who all work together at the Glenpool Fire Department, there must be “something in the water” — but Lieutenant Kendall Dykes offered a different explanation. “We just had a lucky year.”

The town of Glenpool isn’t a big one, so the families all know each other well and spend time together outside of work. Firefighter Mick Whitney, whose baby was the last of the seven to be born, explained, “All the guys and wives spend time in the station and outside of the station. It’s a little different in our group. We go out fishing, hanging out. It’s a unique dynamic.”

And the wives, apparently, agree. Sarah Hutchinson, whose daughter Henley was born in January, said that they were all like family. ““Glenpool is not the biggest town; we only have one fire station. I couldn’t survive without the other fire wives.”
