Kanye West has been named as a suspect in a battery report after he retaliated against someone who allegedly “assaulted” his wife, TMZ reported.
Police are investigating a report that West punched a man in the face late Tuesday night, according to TMZ. Law enforcement sources said the man had allegedly pushed or grabbed West’s wife, Bianca Censori. West’s representatives have since come forward to say, “grabbed’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted,” according to TMZ.
“The assailant didn’t merely collide into her,” West’s reps said.
“He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses,” they noted, according to TMZ.
“She was battered and sexually assaulted.”
Sources close to the matter said West and Censori left the scene after the altercation and noted the man involved did not require treatment for his injuries, according to TMZ.
Police will be discussing the matter with West as part of their investigation, and are urging witnesses to come forward.
West and Censori have made the headlines each time they’ve stepped out in recent weeks, with Censori taking the spotlight for wearing barely-there outfits and putting her fit physique on full display.
West has been at the center of a battery investigation in the past, including a 2023 incident in which a video showed him snatching a photographer’s phone before throwing it into an intersection, according to TMZ. He evaded legal charges in that matter. (RELATED: Ye Sinks Low, Begs Fans To Help Him Land A Live Show)
