Kelly Osbourne revealed she had a near-death experience when she was shot by her brother, Jack.

The story came out during the April 23 episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, as the family was discussing the difference between self-induced risks unexpected life-threatening situations they’ve found themselves in. Kelly chimed in with her own story, and recalled a time in her youth when Jack shot her with a pellet gun.

“You shot me!” she shouted.

“I did shoot you,” Jack admitted.

“You shot me, and I almost died!” Kelly continued as Jack interjected to say, “In the leg.”

Sharon Osbourne was quick to weigh in on the conversation by pressing about the “kind of gun” it was. Jack clarified that he shot Kelly with a pellet gun, not a regular firearm. Kelly stopped them in their tracks, reminding her mother that it was still frightening and traumatic for her.

“Mum, it went straight through my leg and out the other side,” she said on the podcast.

Jack admitted that the situation was indeed dangerous by weighing in to say, “You can still kill someone with a pellet gun.”

Ozzy Osbourne asked Kelly if it hurt when she was shot.

“Dad, it felt like someone putting a hot poker through my leg really fast, because it kind of burnt a bit,” she said.

Kelly went on to detail the pain and trauma of her injury, and the challenging moments she faced at the hospital.

“It was this tiny hospital in the middle of nowhere England in the ’90s,” Kelly said, as she began to explain her experience.

“Their X-ray machine wasn’t working. So, they got this long Q-tip and wrapped it in gauze and dipped it in iodine and poked it through the hole to make sure that there was no bits [of pellet] still [inside my leg],” she recalled.

Jack groaned as he imagined the pain.

The two agreed the incident was an accident. Jack alleged that they were being cared for by an uncle at the time, as Ozzy was on-set filming a movie, but his sister pushed back by saying they “were very persuasive children.” (RELATED: Sharon Osbourne Opens Up About Attempting Suicide)

“My fault as the guy operating the … air rifle, and your fault for running in front of me while I was shooting,” Jack said to Kelly.

“I feel like I’m innocent in this,” Kelly countered. “You ruined my elastic waste … jeans, and I still have beef with you over it.”
