Twitter provides us with a treasure trove of stupid statements from celebrities, and for that we are thankful.

Whether it is the unqualified analysis or the grammatically hysterical, these celeb tweets won spots on The Daily Caller’s list of the dumbest tweets of 2011:

10. Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin is no stranger to offensive comments. But in this tweet, he ridicules the readers to a site where he regularly contributes columns. That’s no way to talk to your readers, Alec:

“The reading comprehension level of the HuffPo comments folks is alarmingly low. I mean, downright awful.”

9. Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen has a laundry list of dumb and/or hilarious tweets. But Sheen really did a number when he attempted to direct message Justin Bieber his cell phone number, but actually publicly posted it to his five million followers.

“310-954-7277 Call me bro. C.”

8. Kim Kardashian

She may make millions off her Twitter endorsement deals, but her attempt at a joke enraged hundreds of Beliebers after she posted the “Dancing With the Stars” 1-800 number and called it Justin Bieber’s in an attempt to drum up votes for her brother Rob, who was a contestant on the show:

“OMG, I have @ JustinBieber’s phone #!!!! 800 8683402! CALL HIM! He’s taking calls for the next hour!!!”

7. Jessica Simpson

The sometime singer is not known for her brains, but she made zero sense in this tweet. Maybe it was jet lag?

“Sometimes learning the language in my head can be just as hard as communicating with someone foreign. alone time on flights get me everytime.”

6. Kenneth Cole

The fashion designer wrote an ill-advised tweet regarding the Arab Spring uprisings earlier this year. We think he should stick to making shoes, not jokes:

“Millions are in uproar in #Cairo. Rumor is they heard our new spring collection is now available online.”

5. Mary J. Blige

We hope the R&B singer was joking when she posted:

“Why is it that people understand estimate my intelligents?! They should never do that!”

4. Ashton Kutcher

The actor was reprimanded by hundreds of Twitter followers after he remarked on the firing of Penn State football coach, Joe Paterno, for allegedly covering up the sex scandal involving former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky and underage boys:

“How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass”

It wasn’t the first time he said something dumb (on Twitter or otherwise). Kutcher has since handed over his Twitter account to one of his staffers.

3. Charlie Sheen

We could have filled this list up with only Charlie Sheen tweets. His infamous tirade early this year made headlines everywhere. He had some great moments, but this is our favorite:

“I am on a drug, it’s called Charlie Sheen. It’s not available because if you try it you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.”

2. Gilbert Gottfried

The comedian was fired from his job as the voice of the Aflac duck after he posted a series of insensitive tweets about the tsunami in Japan.

Among the offenders:

“I just split up with my girlfriend, but like the Japanese say, ‘the’ll will be another one floating by any minute now.'”

1. Paris Hilton

We know, we know. It’s shocking that the heiress made this list for saying something stupid. But it was just too good to be true when she tweeted:

“No, no. I didn’t go to England. I went to London.”
