The trailer for “I Am Chris Farley,” the documentary about the late comedian, was released Monday, and it’s both heartbreaking and hilarious.

The movie switches between clips of Farley’s most memorable “Saturday Night Live” moments, home videos of the goofy comedian and interviews with his closest friends and colleagues — Christina Applegate, Mike Myers, Adam Sandler and David Spade.

“Success in show business does not always create the the best version of people,” Bob Saget tells the camera, while Applegate remembers him as “infectious and kind.”

“He was a puppy dog,” she said.
