Margot Robbie feeds her pet rat — named Rat Rat — organic berries she buys at Whole Foods.
The 24-year-old Australian actress plays Harley Quinn in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” film and Jared Leto plays the Joker, her character’s parter in crime, so ahead of shooting he sent her a pet rat as a gift. (RELATED: Suicide Squad’ Film Is So Dark The Director Had To Hire An On-Set Therapist)

And in a new interview, Robbie confirmed that he really did give her a rat, and she kept it.
From her recent interview with Elle:
“Named Rat Rat. (‘Original!’ says Robbie.) It was given to her by Jared Leto, or rather, Jared Leto’s character in the upcoming Batman flick ‘Suicide Squad’ in which he plays the Joker. Several crew members suggested killing it, but Robbie kept the rat because, ‘If Harley [her character in ‘Suicide Squad’] got something from Joker, she’d probably cherish it.’ Rat Rat now dines on organic berries from Whole Foods.”
