SiriusXM’s David Webb, host of “The David Webb Show,” is looking to interview GOP candidates at the RNC meeting in Cleveland this summer, but he won’t be talking about the issues.

“With each candidate profile, our desire is to break from policy soundbites and give SiriusXM listeners the opportunity to better understand the person behind the candidacy,” said Dave Gorab, SiriusXM Vice President and General Manager, Talk Programming.

The interviews will air on SiriusXM’s conservative news show Patriot and non-partisan POTUS channels on August 6th and will be in a strict five-question format, with a focus on the candidates’ life journeys and interests in their private lives, instead of just their issues and opinions.

“Giving each candidate an opportunity to introduce him or herself in a personal manner is something we feel very strongly about,” said Gorab.
