MSNBC is about to get an extreme makeover.

We’re talking a full Heidi Montag if Mediaite columnist Joe Concha is on the ball with his report that NBC News chairman Andrew Lack is finally doing some much needed housecleaning.

On the chopping block is”The Cycle,” which includes the inexplicably one-name Touré Neblett, who just goes by “Touré,” that big oaf Ed Schultz (who hates the media that covered his recent trial) and “Now With Alex Wagner.”

Back in is NBC “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd.

Concha hints that outcast Brian Williams, who is about to start his redemption tour, will likely get the 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. time slot.

MSNBC has already removed failing news personalities from its lineup this year, including Ronan Farrow and Joy Reid.
