New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie gave what sounded a lot like a sales pitch to become Donald Trump’s attorney general while campaigning for Trump in Florida on Monday.

Christie discussed how that when he was United States Attorney in New Jersey he put terrorists, corrupt politicians and businessmen in jail adding, “I’m convinced that that’s exactly the kind of Attorney General Donald Trump is going to appoint when he is president of the United States.”

While stumping for Trump, Christie said, “Now, you know, before I was governor for the last six years, for seven years before that I was a prosecutor. I was the United States Attorney in New Jersey and we put all kinds of bad guys in jail. We put terrorists in jail, we put corrupt politicians in jail, we put corrupt business people in jail, we did what needed to be done. We did what needed to be done and let me tell you, I’m convinced that that’s exactly the kind of Attorney General Donald Trump is going to appoint when he is president of the United States.”

After that, Christie introduced Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi who endorsed Trump.
