Sixteen female members of the media want Corey Lewandowksi’s head on a stick. To that end, they’re calling on GOP frontrunner Donald Trump to can his campaign manager for allegedly bruising Michelle Fields‘s arm during an event in Jupiter, Fla.
“Never in this line of work is it acceptable to respond to reasonable and legitimate questioning with use of physical force,” they wrote in a letter released Wednesday. “The photographs, audio, videos and witness accounts documenting the treatment of Michelle Fields by Corey Lewandowksi … are inexcusable and unprofessional.”
The ladies appear to know their words will have absolutely no effect on Trump, who is digging in his heels, supporting his aide and encouraging him to take the case to trial.
Still, they pressed on.
“The Trump campaign has stated that Lewandowksi will not be fired even if convicted, however unlike the Trump campaign, we believe in making a statement on the record to highlight the difference between right and wrong,” they wrote.
Some of the women on the list include those who have never been afraid to speak their minds: TheBlaze‘s Dana Loesch, FNC’s Meghan McCain, CNN’s S.E. Cupp, The Federalist‘s Bethany Mandel, and Breitbart News‘s Mary Chastain.
