Kelly Ripa did not appear on “Live With Kelly and Michael” this morning after news broke Tuesday that Michael Strahan was leaving the show for “Good Morning America.”
Ripa was reportedly not informed that Strahan was leaving the show for GMA until he announced it on social media, and “she was outraged,” TMZ reports.
“Our sources tell us Kelly made the decision shortly after she was informed Strahan was bailing on her show to co-host ‘Good Morning America,'” TMZ reported Wednesday. “We broke the story Kelly was told at 10:30 AM Tuesday, just as the announcement was being blasted out to the media and she was outraged.”
“We’re told Kelly feels disrespected and humiliated that she wasn’t given the courtesy of a heads-up. Our sources say she may not show for the foreseeable future. ”
An earlier report said that there might be talk of ending the show and just adding a third hour to GMA.
