Kelly Ripa, host of “Live with Kelly and Michael,” announced that she will be back to work Tuesday after taking the week off following news of Michael Strahan quitting.
On Friday night Ripa sent emails to the crew of her talk show thanking everyone for their love and support following the news of co-host Strahan leaving for “Good Morning America” in the fall, People reports.
“Sorry for this late Friday night email. I wanted to thank you all for giving me the time to process this new information,” she said.
“Your kindness, support, and love has overwhelmed me. We are a family and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning. Love, Kelly.”
As previously reported, the crew of “Live” has said they are worried about losing their jobs following Ripa’s sudden departure from the show and that the longer the drama goes on the “greater the chance they will be replaced by GMA.”
