First world problems, for sure. But why not? Reporters can get loud about whatever they want. The bigger the platform the noisier they can get.

This week poor New York Times media reporter Jeremy Peters didn’t like the coffee on his plane.

So he tweeted his whiny complaint to Delta.

How thoughtful of him to directs his complaint to @DeltaAssist. Of all the things happening in the world, Jeremy Peters, a MSNBC “Morning Joe” regular — where no doubt the Starbucks coffee is a step up from Delta — needs assistance with his airplane coffee?

In Cenk Uygur‘s case, the bigger his mouth the louder he gets.

Last month he was in LAX making a total ass of himself about a delayed plane. When the plane arrived, airline officials kicked him off for his obnoxious behavior. [RELATED: Cenk Uygur Wins Contest For World’s Biggest A**hole]

Unfortunately Delta wrote Peters back, empowering him and all the other journalists who think it is their civic duty to scream and shout every time a minor life service doesn’t go their way.

Journalism’s Romenesko was sympathetic to Peters’ plight.

Perhaps Peters should bring his own carafe next time he travels on Delta.
