Just five days after the Supreme Court invalidated supposedly unnecessary abortion clinic safety regulations, the latest of 60 women to suffer a botched procedure at the St. Louis Planned Parenthood was rushed to the hospital, opponents say.

Operation Rescue Cheryl Sullenberger claims in LifeNews.com that last Saturday pro-life activists spotted a woman being placed in an ambulance, as clinic workers and an armed guard tried to shield their views with “large brown tarps.”

This follows a similar incident on May 13, her group says.

Operation Rescue just obtained a list of 58 calls from the St. Louis abortion mill to 911 since January 2009.

The vast majority were for “hemorrhage,” other bleeding and seizures, although the specific procedure that produced complications was not specified. Doubtful it was one of those mammograms Planned Parenthood purports to provide.

The Supreme Court 5-3 ruling struck down Texas requirements that abortion facilities meet the same standards as ambulatory service centers and that clinic doctors have admitting privileges at hospitals within 30 miles.

Gee, why would they possibly need that?
