Reacting to the report that the ATF is illegally stockpiling gun owners’ personal information, Judge Andrew Napolitano warned on Thursday that the agency has a “small army… who knows where every gun is and who owns the guns and could harass or confiscate” them.

Appearing on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends,” Napolitano blasted President Obama, arguing, “So now we have a president who doesn’t believe in the right to keep and bear arms.” (RELATED: The ATF Is Illegally Hoarding American Gun Owners’ Personal Information)

Napolitano said that Obama “might be succeeded by another president who doesn’t believe in the right to keep and bear arms, who has a small army, the ATF, who knows where every gun is and who owns the guns and could harass or confiscate.”

“And Congress legislated to stop that and this lawless administration has broken that law and retained that information,” Napolitano said.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reported on Wednesday that the ATF did not remove identifiable information about guns and gun owners from their systems despite the official protocol to do so.
