Pastor Mark Burns, a Donald Trump supporter, argued on Thursday that “Hillary Clinton is continuously using the race-baiting objective to divide and conquer” in order to “put blacks in one place, put Hispanics in one place.”
Appearing on Fox News’s “Your World” with guest host Stuart Varney, Burns said, “I stand for righteousness and unity and right now in this political climate it’s in reference to the Democrats and the liberal Democratic party, it’s almost wrong to be proud to be an American.” (RELATED: Pastor Mark Burns: Dems Elected First Black Pres. — Not The Same As Helping Black People [VIDEO])
Later Burns said, “I wear my Donald Trump shirt everywhere I go and you would be so surprised [about] the supporters who are black and Hispanic and of different nationalities and ethnic groups saying ‘I’m supporting Donald Trump.'” (RELATED: Trump: It’s ‘Totally Predictable’ Hillary Calls Republicans ‘Racist’ [VIDEO])
“They understand that with the Democratic party, they have been getting a bad deal,” Burns said. Adding, “Hillary Clinton is continuously using the race-baiting objective to divide and conquer. Put blacks in one place, put Hispanics in one place. Put other ethnic groups in one place and instead of bringing us together as the United States of America, they’re consistently dividing and conquering us. Getting us to focus on the color of our skins and not the color of the red, white, and blue of America.”
Burns later said that it was “preposterous” that Trump was a racist.
