At least two people are reported dead after a gunman opened fire at North Park Elementary School in San Bernardino County on Monday.

According to CBS Los Angeles, a teacher and two students have both been shot, and the situation is believed to be contained. The local NBC News outlet reported that at least two people are dead as a result of the shooting.
SBPD Chief Jarrod Burguan tweeted shortly after 2:00 pm, EST the situation is being handled as a murder-suicide.
The two students reportedly injured in the attack have been transported to a nearby hospital.

NBC News reports that the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a separate, domestic violence incident involving the injured teacher.
