House Speaker Paul Ryan spoke to reporters Wednesday amidst the onslaught of Trump White House scandals.
In spite of the controversies, Ryan claimed that Congress could still fulfill its duties. “I’ve said this before, we’re going to walk and chew gum at the same time.”
But it seems that things in DC are anything but business as usual, and it may be difficult for Congress to continue to “walk and chew” with one of the federal branches of government (hint, it is not the judiciary or the legislative) embroiled in a multitude of scandals.
Luckily, The Daily Caller has acquired exclusive footage that may shed light on the question of whether or not Ryan and his Congress can, in fact, walk while simultaneously chewing gum. Based on the footage, this may be more difficult than Speaker Ryan thinks as the quagmire in Washington only seems to be getting more swamp-like by the day.
