Twitter frenzy – Twitter has been a hotbed of  insanity since President Trump’s string of tweets in response to the London terror attack. Using the attack to criticize London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s response and promote his “travel ban,” Trump generated outrage in the Twittersphere.

CNN host Reza Aslan shared some unkind words, tweeting, “This piece of shit is not just an embarrassment to America and a stain on the presidency. He’s an embarrassment to humankind.”

After the media had a field day, Aslan deleted the tweet and apologized.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway was quick to defend Trump, questioning the media’s “obsession with covering everything he says on Twitter and very little of what he does as president.”

Conway’s pillow talk may be a little tense tonight, as her husband George Conway had a different reaction to Trump’s tweets. Conway, who recently withdrew from the running for a Department of Justice job, suggested Trump direct his time and energy elsewhere. Read the whole story here.

NBC Megyn Kelly’s highly elusive interview was an utter disappointment – Russian Prez Vladimir Putin was in the driver’s seat during his interview on the premiere of Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly. After being hyped on television for weeks, the 10-minute interview fell short (both literally and figuratively) of viewers’ expectations.

For LA Times TV critic Lorraine Ali, 10 minutes was “enough time to confirm that she’s still not a great interviewer, and he’s still one of the most deceptive interview subjects around.” Vanity Fair applauded Kelly for getting the interview, but said “getting the U.S.’s biggest antagonist is meaningless if you simply go through the motions once he’s there.” Read more of what Vanity Fair had to say here.

Did Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) really “shove” a reporter? – The answer is no. Freelancer Michael Tracey is a giant wimp. Tracey tweeted that Waters shoved him at the “March for Truth” protest Saturday in Manhattan. Apparently Tracey ticked off Waters when he asked her “why she’s been so focused on the Russia controversy.”

Waters got prickly and said she and Tracey had different agendas, and hers being to impeach the president. Before Tracey could ask another question, “Waters walked away and used her right hand to push aside Tracey’s right hand.” Tracey laughed. Video footage captured the non-violent scene.
