While complaining about her flight delay, a “self destructive (food wise)” Lena Dunham took to Twitter to criticize American Airlines over employees allegedly having a “transphobic talk.”

American Airlines sent the actress a concerned message, where the Girls creator lambasted them for having “uninformed employees.” “Awareness starts at home but jobs can set standards of practice,” she wrote at 3:01 a.m.

American Airlines said, “We’re passing this along to our team to review.”

The average flight attendant makes an estimated $38,000 per year. Dunham pocketed $150,000 for each episode of Girls and is worth an estimated $12 million.
