Lena Dunham: ‘It’s Not Okay To Body Shame ANYONE But The President’

Lena Dunham told her followers Wednesday that “it’s not okay to body shame anyone but the president.”

“For months I was really against anyone saying anything about Donald Trump’s looks,” the 31-year-old “Girls” star tweeted to her 5.64 million followers. (RELATED: Lena Dunham: ‘No Way Not to Politicize’ Vegas Massacre)

“I was like ‘that makes us just as bad as him!’ Over that,” she added, before stating that “it’s not okay to body shame ANYONE but the president.”

Her comments come only a day after she tweeted that there was “no way not to politicize” the Las Vegas massacre that left more than 50 people dead and hundreds of others injured. The criminal, Stephen Paddock, opened fire on the concert goers at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival Sunday night.

“No way not to politicize this tragedy. It’s about gender & race as well as access to guns. Considering it random is comforting & dangerous,” Dunham tweeted Monday.
