Bill O’Reilly claimed in an interview Tuesday that a recording exists of an “anti-Trump” lawyer offering money to a woman to accuse Donald Trump of sexual harassment during the presidential campaign.

O’Reilly told Newsmax that a tape exists where a female attorney offers $200,000 to a woman to accuse Trump of sexual harassment before the election.

He said, “It exists. We have urged the person who has the tape to hand it over to the U.S. attorney, because my investigative team believes there are three separate crimes on the audio tape.”

O’Reilly added, “it’s related to my situation.”

The former Fox News host admits that he does not have the tape. However, he claims his lawyers have heard it.

Both O’Reilly and Trump have been the subjects of sexual harassment allegations over the past year. In the month before the election, several women came forward against President Trump, accusing him of harassment.

O’Reilly was taken down from his longtime Fox News primetime position in April following revelations the network had settled a number of sexual harassment claims. The New York Times revealed that Fox News paid around $13 million to former employees who accused O’Reilly of harassment.

Last week, a new NYT article revealed that $32 million was paid out to one former employee who alleged “repeated harassment, a nonconsensual sexual relationship and the sending of gay pornography and other sexually explicit material to her.”

O’Reilly has consistently denied all of these claims.
