It’s Monday, November 20, 2017, and this is Today In Media.

WATCH:

We’re counting down the five most ridiculous media moments and everyone from CNN to Reason Magazine was included today.

After a second allegation of sexual misconduct came out about Democratic Sen. Al Franken, the media once again scrambled to minimize his behavior. On CNN, Symone Sanders asserted that Franken has “integrity” and Josh Green gave Franken a little too much credit for apologizing to the women he groped. Of course, Franken’s apologies were somewhat half-baked considering he never fully admitted to the actions he was accused of.

Plus, The New Yorker published a piece that blamed a neighbor’s assault on Sen. Rand Paul on Donald Trump and rotten pumpkins. We don’t know what those things have in common besides their orange hue, and certainly neither the president nor gourds have a connection to the brutal attack on Sen. Paul.
