MSNBC analyst Anand Giridharadas claimed on Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s tweet bragging about his nuclear button was proof of his “profound sexual insecurity.”

“As we saw all through 2017, men with profound sexual insecurity can wreak a lot of havoc in the lives of women, in the lives of their families, but perhaps never have we seen a man whose profound sexual and masculine insecurities are literally threatening to annihilate the planet,” Giridharadas claimed.

“The way he’s literally capitalizing in that tweet his nuclear button, any psychiatrist or psychologist would have a field day with that, but we all live in a world that could literally be ended in terms of a habitable planet because of this sad man’s insecurities,” he continued.

President Trump tweeted about his nuclear button Tuesday evening in response to North Korea’s Kim Jong Un saying he keeps the same object on his desk at all times.

“North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the ‘Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times,'” the president tweeted. “Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”
