Stan Lee, the 95-year-old co-creator of Spider-Man, the X-Men, and a host of other comics, says that he’s being targeted for a shakedown after he was accused by a nursing company he previously hired to look after him of sexually abusing nurses.

The Daily Mail reported on Tuesday that the nursing company employed to look after him stopped working with him after what the paper calls a “string of complaints” involving demands for oral sex and groping.

The paper reports that Lee is accused of having “repeatedly groped and harassed a string of young femaele nurses employed to care for him.”

An anonymous source who spoke to the Daily Mail says Lee “seemingly lost his way” and that he allegedly finds the sexual harassment “funny.”

“He walks around naked and is vulgar towards the women, he asks them for oral sex in the shower and wants to be pleasured in his bedroom. He uses the word p***y and f**k in their presence,” said the source, who added that the owner of the company, who nursed Stan herself, is the one making the claims against the comic book legend.

The nurses reportedly earned upwards of $1,000 a day to take care of Lee and were available to tend to him at all hours.

Despite the allegations, the nursing company, which remains unnamed, has not hit Lee with any civil lawsuits — nor have any of the alleged victims gone to the police to report his alleged wrongdoings.

Lee’s lawyers informed the British tabloid that he has sent a cease and desist letter to the nursing company, accusing it of defaming Lee. “Mr. Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done absolutely nothing wrong,” said attorney Tom Lallas, who called the accusations “false and despicable.”

“Instead, Mr. Lee has received demands to pay money and threats that if he does not do so, the accuser will go to the media,” said the attorney. “Mr Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done absolutely nothing wrong.”

The new company Lee hired to take care of him, Vitale Nursing Inc., defended Lee over the allegations. A spokeswoman for the firm, Julie Wozniak, described Lee as “polite, kind, and respectful.”

“It has been a privilege to care for him,” she said.

Another source close to the comic book giant also defended Lee’s character, stating his belief that Lee was being taken advantage of by the nursing company due to his age. “Stan is 95 years old and has had an excellent reputation throughout his career,” the source said.

Lee lost his wife of 70 years, Joan, in 2017. They had one daughter, J.C. Lee.

Until now, Lee has not faced a single accusation of sexual misconduct in his long career as a comic book creator, movie producer, and entertainer.
