“But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save,” it added. “With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.”

In the voice over, Cage–played by Mike Colter–explains “you can’t burn me..you can’t blast me..and you definitely can’t break me.”

“When a sabotaged experiment gives him super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to rebuild his life in Harlem and must soon confront his past and fight a battle for the heart of his city,” the description from the first season on IMDb read.

The second season will see a return of Colter along with other stars from the first one like Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Alfre Woodard and Rosario Dawson.

According to Deadline, the premiere for “Luke Cage” Season 2 comes out June 22 and will have 13-episodes.
