Police arrested a woman after they discovered she texted a friend for a ride so she could shoot up a school.

Kansas City resident Asia M. Snell reportedly texted a friend April 14, “Can you drive me,” after expressing a desire to stage a school shooting, The Kansas City Star reported.

“The school im gonna shoot up? It’s called raven wood. Can you drive me? Lolololol,” the text stated. The friend alerted authorities about the text and told them Snell had made similar threats before, though this was the first one she wrote down.

Snell was joking about shooting the school and she had made similar jokes against people before, she told officers. Snell did not own a gun, and she only named Ravenwood Elementary School because she happened to live by it, she added.

Officers charged Snell with making terroristic threats and put her bond at $10,000.

A Florida man was arrested in February for making similar threats against a school by posting pictures on social media. His threats had only been a joke, the man claimed.
