Republican Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado said to expect more Democratic obstruction of President Donald Trump’s nominees, Tuesday on “Fox & Friends.”

Democrats will likely oppose Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson for Veterans Affairs secretary because he’s associated with Trump, Gardner said.

“I think you’ll see the same kind unprecedented obstruction that we have witnessed already,” Gardner said. “I believe we should be [in the Senate] 24 hours a day, seven days a week and there’s a lot of members who feel that way.”

WATCH:

Gardner accused Democrats of delaying nominees and running out the clock, due to their hatred and deep desire to spite Trump.

“They’re going to make us spend 30 hours on every single one of these nominees because they dislike the outcome of the election,” he concluded. “They dislike President Trump so much, that they are going to do everything they can to create road blocks, obstruction and log jams to back this up.”
