During a Monday night interview with Stephen Colbert, Stephanopoulos’ wife Ali Wentworth said that her entire family watched the Comey interview together. Initially, she said, she thought Stephanopoulos would be interviewing Comey at their apartment so she baked rice krispy treats and prepared her children to play “Would You Rather” with Comey.

“The Comey interview we watched with our two daughters…in our fifteen year olds bed so we’re all lined up like eskimos,” Wentworth said. “My girls, of course, who live in the social media world the whole time were like ‘oh my god daddy, oh my god daddy you’re number one, you’re trending. Oh no Beyonce, now it’s Beyonce.”

“Yeah so he started crying because he didn’t want Beyonce to beat him in the trend,” Wentworth admitted. “But then he got back up and it was a fantastic interview so it was an exciting night in the Stephanopoulos family.”
