Kris Jenner finally responded Friday to comments that her son-in-law Kanye West said about slavery being a “choice” and ones he’s made recently in support of President Donald Trump.

The comments came during her appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” after the host asked her point-blank two question. The first what is “what’s going on” with the rapper and second “is he okay?”

“You know, Kanye has a lot of love for all of you, for all of his fans. And everybody who has been there to support him forever,” Jenner explained. “And I know that he will explain himself in his own way. And I think that anything he does, and I think that this is important to say, is he always does things with really good intentions.”

“So, I am going to let him explain himself when the times is ready,” she added. “And I just keep rolling on and trying to keep up with the Kardashians.”

Later, in the segment she talked about how Khloe Kardashian was doing after reports surfaced that her daughter’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson allegedly cheated on her while she was pregnant.

“But Khloe is amazing. I am so proud of that kid,” Jenner shared. “I get choked up ’cause she is such a good mom. She is just concentrating on that, just being a mom, her baby. She is so excited about motherhood. She is just figuring it out one day at a time.”
