Former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg said Tuesday on MSNBC that he will “absolutely not” sit for an interview with House Democrats on the Russia probe.

WATCH:

Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff asked Nunberg to meet with the House Intelligence Committee as part of the Russia investigation and turn over documents regarding his connection with political adviser Roger Stone.

“It’s been closed down by Chairman Nunes,” Nunberg said. “I think that if you look at the request that Adam Schiff gave me, he’s got the documents I gave to the general counsel’s office. You’ll notice the Senate’s request was extremely narrow in scope.”

Nunberg also said that the materials Schiff asked for are “overly broad,” and that “it is a waste of taxpayer money to draft something like this.” (RELATED: After Grand Jury Testimony, Sam Nunberg Says He Doubts Mueller Probe Leads To Trump)
