Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert compared the leaks from former FBI director James Comey to Noah’s flood Tuesday.

Gohmert stated that the Department of Jusice, as well as Comey, wanted “anything that is going to be embarrassing or perhaps implicate” President Trump in criminal activity. “Because to them the only thing relevant is what will get Donald Trump out of office and what makes them look good and avoids them looking as bad as they really are in this whole fiasco.”
The Texas Congressman also stated that leaks from Comey came from classified material, and that “at a minimum there was an executive privilege that can only be foregone by the president himself” on the leaked information.
“Noah built himself an ark, and I think that is what we have going on, when you have Comey,” Gohmert said. “It’s more of a flood, not just a little leak. Maybe Noah needs to build himself another ark.”
