Johnny Depp is reportedly “healthy” and there is “no reason to be concerned” after photos surfaced of the star looking “unrecognizable” and “ill.”
A source confirmed to E! News Monday that the 54-year-old actor was fine after fans freaked out following several posts on Instagram showing the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star looking “gaunt” and “thin” in photos with fans in Russia that surfaced last week. The most shocking photo has since been deleted but can be seen here.
Fans claimed that the star’s looks ranged from “ill” and “thin” to completely “unrecognizable.”
Depp — who is currently touring throughout Europe with his band the Hollywood Vampires — has been dealing with a handful of legal woes. The first being a lawsuit filled by his former bodyguards who alleged that the “Edwards Scissorhand” star forced them to work in unsafe conditions and for “unpaid wages.”
He also has filed a $25 million lawsuit against his former management company over what he says was mismanagement of his assets leading to his financial woes. In response, his ex-manager filed a countersuit claiming Depp spends close to $2 million dollars a month on luxuries.
Some of the more extravagant things the star has allegedly spent money on, according to the 31-page complaint, include $30,000 a month on wine, $75 million to “acquire, improve and furnish” 14 homes all over the world, “acquiring and maintaining” 45 luxury cars and $10 million a year to support his friends, family and employees.
