Happy birthday to the United States! America turns a whopping 242 years old on Wednesday.
Throughout our country’s existence, we have certainly accomplished a lot! We beat Britain in the Revolutionary War when no one gave America a chance. America grew from 13 original colonies to 50 states that stretch ocean-to-ocean. This country has been the beacon of hope for capitalism, free speech and opportunity for so many people.
Americans do not agree on everything, but one thing they can agree on is that many great men and women serve our country every single day. Take extra time this year to celebrate these brave individuals who put their life on the line.
