President Trump challenged Massachussets Sen. Elizabeth Warren, dubbed “Pocahontas” by the president, to a dare — asking her to take a DNA test to show that she is really Native American during a Thursday rally in Montana.

Trump took a stab at 2020 presidential Democrat hopefuls.

“Are they going to cover Bernie? Hey, they’re gonna cover like sleepy Joe Biden? They’re going to cover Pocahontas? Think of it. Think of it. She of the great tribal heritage, what tribe is it? Uh, let me think about that one,” Trump said.

He continued, “Pocahontas, they alway want me to apologize for saying it. And I hereby, no, I want to apologize. I’ll apologize tonight. Pocahontas, I apologize to you. I apologize. To you, I apologize. To the fake Pocahontas, I won’t apologize. That name is causing her problems.”

Trump went on to say that liberals don’t want her to take the test, but then promised a challenge.

“We will say, ‘I will give you $1 million to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you are an Indian,'” Trump dared.

Warren responded the president’s comments, deflecting to immigration policy instead of responding directly to the president’s challenge.

Update: This post was updated to include Sen. Warren’s response to the president.
