Tomi Lahren responded to fears that President Donald Trump’s newest Supreme Court nominee might tip the court in favor of overturning Roe v. Wade in a Saturday video for “Fox News Insider.” Lahren claimed that any attempt to do so “would be a huge mistake” and would ultimately fail anyway.

She prefaced her comments by saying, “I’m going to say something my fellow conservatives and Trump supporters may not like,” and then proceeded to state that she believed that pushing for a Supreme Court decision overturning the 1973 decision “would be a huge mistake.”

Lahren then explained that because Roe v. Wade is considered by most to be settled law — and has been reaffirmed by a number of other cases since — it would be all but impossible to overturn it anyway.

Do we really want to fight for this, alienate Democrats, moderates and libertarians, all to lose in the end anyway? It’s a risk I don’t think is worth taking.

Lahren concluded by saying that she personally would choose life, but felt that it was not the government’s place to force others to choose the way she would — the same argument she made on ABC’s “The View” before abruptly being suspended, then terminated, by The Blaze in 2017. (RELATED: The Blaze Suspends Tomi Lahren)
