Angel Mom Rhonda West, whose son was murdered by an illegal immigrant in 2010, says Mollie Tibbetts’ death should be politicized because she thinks there isn’t enough being done when it comes to enforcing our Nation’s immigration laws.
She agrees with Tibbetts’ aunt, Billie Jo Calderwood, that “evil comes in every color,” but says this isn’t about skin color. West says this is about properly screening who’s coming into the country.
West says the murders of her 13-year-old son Kendrick Owens and Mollie Tibbetts could have been prevented had our government officials taken more action to prevent illegal immigration.
She says she has been working with The Remembrance Project, a non-profit that raises awareness for the suffering families impacted by crimes committed by illegals.
“Kendrick was my one and only son, he was my baby, my precious little boy. I loved him so dearly, we spent so much time together, his life was stolen and his life was stolen from me,” she said.
