Authorities identified Amber Guygerthe as the Dallas police officer who reportedly fatally shot her neighbor, and was previously reportedly involved in a one on-duty shooting during her four years with the Dallas Police Department.

Guyger has not yet been charged in the Thursday incident that lead to the death of 26-year-old Botham Jean, a black man, reported Fox News. Guyger is white.

Guyger, 30, was never charged in the May 2017 incident in which she shot a man who took her stun gun. He was wounded but recovered, reported Fox News.

Guyger’s name was first released by the Dallas Morning News, prompting Dallas Police to confirm her involvement, reported Fox News. Guyger is not being charged while the Texas Rangers conduct an investigation into Jean’s death, although Dallas police Chief Renee Hall was ready to charge her with manslaughter, reported Fox News.

Guyger thought Jean’s apartment was her own and acted as if he were an intruder, according to CNN. The incident took place in the South Side Flats apartment complex where both Jean and Guyger resided in Dallas on Thursday night.
