Capitol Hill police arrested dozens of protesters who oppose the confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh in the Dirksen Senate Building on Friday.

Protesters shouted “We believe survivors” and “We believe Christine” to show support for Christine Blasey Ford, who testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday saying that she is “100 percent” certain that Kavanaugh was the one who allegedly attempted to rape her at a high school party nearly 35 years ago.

Anti-Kavanaugh protesters, whose hands were bound with ties, were escorted out of the Senate building by police for blocking hallways and waving banners above their head that read “Kava-No” outside of senators offices hoping to persuade lawmakers not to confirm President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court pick.
