Kanye West has been in the news for making some pretty wild comments over the last few days, but one of his most unbelievable interactions isn’t getting very much attention at all.

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that he’s wearing a Make America Great Again hat — and refusing to take it off.

In the clip, TMZ’s Harvey Levin begins the interview with Kanye by asking him to take off his red MAGA hat. (RELATED: LATEST REVELATIONS INVOLVING KANYE WEST AND AN INTERN WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD SPINNING)

“I would love it, Kanye, if you would not wear that hat. It would make me and a lot of other people feel better,” Levin said. “In fact, why don’t we say, ‘Please take off the hat, Kanye!’ How’s that?”

“It’s not good,” Kanye shot back, saying he wasn’t going to allow himself to be “bullied” by others.

Levin eventually concedes, saying Kanye was within his rights to wear the hat.

“Exactly! First Amendment, baby! First Amendment! First Amendment,” Kanye said, doubling down.

Asked whether the hat represents his support of Trump, Kanye said, “I am American, and I support and give my ideas and support and brilliance to whoever ends up in office,” adding, “That’s my stance, as an American. I support our president — bottom line — no matter who they are. As an American, I support our president.”

The rapper, clearly fired up, added, “I already told you what this hat represents to me. This represents y’all can’t bully me. … You can’t tell me what to do.”

You can watch the entire exchange here, beginning around 30:40.

Though it hasn’t been widely reported on. We wonder why…
