Pressure is reportedly mounting inside the Giants locker room as Eli Manning’s downward spiral continues this season.

An anonymous source who claims to have spoken with several Giants players says there is mass confusion and growing frustration with Eli Manning behind closed doors. (RELATED: Eli Manning Reacts To Criticism With Laughable Comment)

“Let’s just say a quarterback change wouldn’t be unwelcome,” the source told CBS Sports.

It’s not exactly a secret that Manning, 37, could be over the hill. There’s a solid argument to be made for putting him in the Hall Of Fame someday. But with the way he’s been looking over the past few seasons, the Giants should at least be considering another quarterback. (RELATED: There’s A Growing Movement For This NFL Team To Sign Kaepernick)

And with Manning signing an $84 million, four-year contract extension in 2015 (he’s making a cool $16 million this year alone), we might want to consider checking the Giants’ leadership’s IQ while they’re at it, too. Perhaps the players have something to teach them.
