The ladies on “The View” announced Friday that CNN’s Ana Navarro has been selected as the new weekly Friday host.

The comments came right at the start of the program when Joy Behar called it a real “treat” to have Navarro on as part of the show on Friday’s when regular co-host Whoopi Goldberg has the day off, according to Fox News(RELATED: ‘The View’ Criticizes Hillary Clinton Over Defense Of Bill Clinton’s Sexual Misconduct Accusations [VIDEO])

“And I’m happy to announce that Ana [Navarro] will be joining us on Fridays at the table from now on,” Behar explained. “So that’s a treat for us. Right?”

“Thank you very much,” the CNN commentator replied, before the table discussion turned to Democrats and how they “may have unleashed their secret weapon” Oprah Winfrey, who stumped Thursday in Marietta, Georgia, for gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams.

Navarro also tweeted about the news and shared that she was “happy to be joining the ladies.”

“Some personal news…stating today, I am happy to be joining the ladies around the table as a Friday Co-host on ‘The View,'” the CNN pundit wrote.

In the past when she’s been on the show, Navarro’s criticized President Donald Trump and other members of his administration. One show, she compared attorney Michael Avenatti to the Holy Spirit, praising him for his actions against Trump.

The CNN contributor also uses her social media account to attack the first family. Recently, she called out Melania Trump for her “lack of self-awareness [and] any sense of shame for her husband’s use of the Presidency to bully others” during a discussion about the first lady talking about cyberbullying as part of her “Be Best” campaign.
