The college basketball season started with Duke stomping all over Kentucky Tuesday night 118-84.

Now, I want to go on the record immediately and say I hate both these teams. I think they’re both awful. Duke stole a ring right off my finger in 2015 in the national title game, and Kentucky has the most unbearable fans in the sport. None of that is up for debate. Both schools are the worst.

However, I can’t lie about Tuesday night. I had a lot of fun watching the Blue Devils run the Wildcats right off the court. It turns out, Zion Williamson is just as great as everybody expected. The kid dropped 28 points in his first college game playing against the second-ranked team in the country! That’s just pure insanity. Freshman R.J. Barrett added an additional 33 points. Again, it was like watching a horror movie with how much Duke was slicing apart Coach Calipari’s guys.

In a situation like this one, I’d prefer if both teams lost, but that’s obviously not an option. So, I’m pretty content with watching Duke look like a damn video game creation out on the court.

It’s early in the season, but you’re out of your mind if you don’t think Duke has the most talent right now. Coach K is playing with a miniature NBA team, judging from what I saw last night. It’s going to be a very long season for their opponents.
