Yesterday, I told you about the S’well vacuum insulated double wall bottle. If you haven’t switched to using a stainless steel bottle yet, do it now. Sure, they are environmentally friendly. Besides that, they are portable, easy to clean, and keep all your beverages hot or cold all day long. While the S’well was my first bottle of this type, my newest obsession is the Hydro Flask.

The stainless steel Hydro Flask is also vacuum insulated and double walled. What makes this even better than the S’well is its size. I use the 32 oz. version with the built-in straw lid. The lid can be clipped onto a backpack or easily carried with one finger. You can fill it with any of your favorite beverages and easily tote it with you wherever you go. Plus, with the wide mouth opening, they are the easiest of these types of bottles to clean. Just find a water faucet, rinse and go. No additional bottle cleaning brushes are necessary. As a college student, I find this to be very convenient. Right now, you can take advantage of a rare sale. Amazon has them for $44.95, instead of the everyday price of $48. It might seem like a lot, but if you use this for all of your beverages, you’ll see it as a worthwhile investment. I know I do.
