Today’s Daily Daily Caller Podcast is all about how the liberal media is spinning and lying about the caravan of illegal immigrants just south of the border in order to misinform the American people about what’s really happening down there.

On Sunday, CNN’s Brian Stelter had a panel attacking Fox News for their coverage of the caravan, wondering why the amount of coverage dipped in the days just after the election. Obviously, it was because they were covering the election results. Stelter and his guests knew this, or should have, but ignored it in order to advance the liberal narrative that it was only covered to help Republicans. The panel went so far as to declare the idea that the caravan would storm the border was absurd and “propaganda” from conservatives. Later that day, hundreds of members of the caravan did, in fact, attempt to storm the border. CNN and Stelter haven’t bothered to address this reality relative to their assurances only hours earlier.
MSNBC, never one to be left behind, was desperate to show the caravan was mostly women and children. Network personality Stephanie Ruhle asked one of their reporters in Tijuana what the make-up of the group was and was told it was “mostly men.”
Back on CNN, they interviewed Chief Border Patrol Agent for the San Diego Sector Rodney Scott. Scott was pelted with questions about why agents used tear gas against a group of women and children. His response was perfect and priceless.
Plus, Joe and Mika tied the knot over the weekend. A drooling piece about their marriage, the second for her and the third for him, declared the couple “sit atop” a world where “news anchors are a new sort of rock star and cable news is must-see TV.” Their ratings and the fact that neither are anchors contradicts those claims, but why let the facts get in the way of a good story?
