Everything’s coming up roses in Chicago.

The Bears are headed to the postseason for the first time since 2010, and one of their players is headed to a lifetime of happiness with his significant other. (RELATED: NFL Star Hit With A Big Fine or Absurd Reason. Has The League Lost Its Mind?)

Chicago offensive lineman Charles Leno Jr. proposed to girlfriend Jennifer Roth at midfield following the Bears’ NFC-North clinching 24–17 win over the arch-rival Green Bay Packers.

The couple had been dating for about five years, and according to the Chicago Tribune, Leno had been planning the proposal for a while. He even flew both his and Roth’s parents out to the game for the occasion.

“Jennifer Marie Roth, would you like to be … Jennifer Marie Leno Jr?” Leno Jr. asked propped down on one knee, holding open a ring. “Will you? Will you accept?”

She said yes.

“I’m on cloud nine. This is one of the best days of my life,” Leno said. “I’m going to remember this day forever: Dec. 16, 2018.”

The Bears’ offensive lineman is in his fifth season out of Boise State.
