An unnamed NFL team apparently has some serious interest in getting Jim Harbaugh to leave Michigan.

ProFootballTalk reported the following Wednesday:

Per a league source, at least one team plans to make a run at Jim Harbaugh after the NFL season ends. Whether he’ll bite remains to be seen, but the team in question is prepared to put the kind of money on the table that will get Harbaugh’s attention.

Chris Simms recently suggested on PFT Live that one team is indeed waiting for a chance to interview Jim Harbaugh.

I have no idea exactly which team this would be, but there are two obvious ones that stick out to me. The only two teams that I think would make a super serious run at the Wolverines coach are the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers(RELATED: Here Are The Best Moments From Week 15 Of The NFL Season)

Would he leave for either? I don’t know, but there’s no doubt they both could throw a lot of cash his way.

I’m also not sure Harbaugh even wants to be back in the NFL. He finally has Michigan playing at a very high level, and is already on the record that he’s not going anywhere.

Obviously, coaches change their minds on a regular basis, but I’m just not sold on the idea he’s going to bolt right after making Michigan a serious contender.

It doesn’t seem like something that’s super likely.

If I had to bet on it, I’d bet the house Harbaugh is still coaching the Michigan Wolverines on opening day 2019.
