George Washington Law School professor Jonathan Turley said Rudy Giuliani is right about how the Mueller report will affect the Trump administration, calling it a “cardiac arrest” for the White House.

“There’s a lot of live torpedoes in the water,” Turley said on “Fox & Friends” Wednesday. (RELATED: Democratic Identity Will Collapse Once Trump Leaves Office, Says Jonathan Turley)

“And I think everyone is uneasy in Washington on both sides of the aisle because there’s investigations as well that touch on Democrats and the Clintons. There’s obviously this report. And I think that Rudy Giuliani is right. This report is going to be a real cardiac arrest for the Trump administration. I think they’re preparing for that. So 2019, there’s going to be a great deal of broken China in Washington. And people are not sure how this is going to play out.”

Turley also claimed Mueller’s report is near completion and said Congress members must rush to make it public if they want it to have any political effect.

“I think the report is largely complete. Many of us expected the report to come out some time at the end of the year, beginning of the new year. There is some time that will be needed by Congress,” he said.

“They’re losing runway if they want to take off from this report. Time is of the essence for Congress. They’ve got a two-year clock running.”
