Alec Baldwin pleaded guilty Wednesday to a charge stemming from a parking spot altercation.

According to ABC7NY, the actor pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment after a massive argument over a parking spot in New York.

His punishment wasn’t much, though. He will only have to take anger management classes! (RELATED: Alec Baldwin Arrested Over Parking Spot Altercation)

To be totally fair, I’m not sure the justice system wants to be bogged down with cases over parking spots, but this situation didn’t sound good when it was first reported.

He allegedly punched a man in the face over a parking spot back in November. If that were truly the case, I’m a little shocked that he only got anger management.

The prosecutors must have felt like they just didn’t have enough evidence to make a big case out of the situation.

Well, at least this whole circus is finally over. I don’t think anybody actually ever expected Baldwin to get in serious trouble.

We all know that celebrities get to play by different rules, but it is kind of funny that he allegedly punched a man in the face and only got anger management.

Seems like a classic example of double standards, but hey, at least he’s now free to do all that amazing comedy on “SNL.” If anything, he should go to jail for simply not being funny.
